Every night from 7pm till midnight come and gaze upon the light show projected on the grain silos beneath the
southern cross.
The show changes with what is happening in the region.
Promoting activities, events, places of interest and lifestyle.
At present the show includes and highlights the works of the photographers who
entered the 2022 Senex Wandoan Photo Challenge.
You can grab a bite to eat and a drink from the Wandoan Truck Stop and choose to either take
a chair and sit out under the stars, or sit in your car or sit at the table and chairs beside the tuck
stop. There are toilets for the patrons.
The silos are situated behind the Wandoan Truck Stop, Zupps Road, Wandoan.
Tip: You might need some insect repellent!
Wandoan has a number of accommodation options for travellers to stay overnight and
enjoy this exciting and unique night attraction of the Western Downs region.
These include, motel accommodation, powered and unpowered sites at the Juandah Historical Site
and the Wandoan Show grounds (for a small fee), as well as free camping that
has toilet and shower facilities at Waterloo Plains.
