Walla Walla Water Tank Art - New South Wales

The Walla Walla Water Tower was painted by Damien Mitchell over three weeks in April and May 2022.

Damien who grew up in the Riverina and spent the last two decades working overseas says he hopes to inspire local artists while he works on the mural on Walla Walla's water tower.

The tower depicts seven animal species that are native to the area in a scene set around the Walla Walla swamp. The people in the boats are taken from an old photo showing local residents when the swamp was full of water.
