Tatong Tavern Water Tank Art - Victoria

This stunningly painted little water tank is located at the Tatong Tavern, Tatong. Victoria.

Titled ‘The Kelly Gang Prospecting in the Tatong Hills’ this mural has been painted with such minute fine detail, its absolutely amazing. 

It was painted by Michael Larkin, a local to the Tatong area and commissioned by Pedro Schroder, the Tatong Tavern owner.

The water tank is located in the Tatong Tavern Gardens, 2585 Benalla-Tatong Road, Tatong. I have heard rumours that food here is to die for, Pedro and the staff are very friendly and even better still, it’s all reasonably priced as well.

For the travellers on the road, there is great shady campsite available for a very reasonable $10 per night. So no excuse, why not call in and see this wonderful little water tank, stay the night, have a great meal and a drink at the pub as well.
