In August 2018, Damion Moroney and James Moulton of Iknograffix were commissioned to paint the water tank at the Oxley Lookout on Flagstaff Mountain in a bid to combat unsightly graffiti.
Of all the water tanks and towers on this site, this would be one of the most difficult to visit. Access is via a steep walk track at least 200 metres long, via a sandy, rocky and uneven surface. If the weather is hot, remember to take water with you.
Its also fully fenced the whole way around, so you need to take your photographs like many other water tanks, through the gaps in the wire.
