Gold Coast Hinterland roads, of which Springbrook is one, are a magnet for motorbikes. Please keep a good lookout.

The most direct route to see ALL the tanks, from the Pacific Motorway, is to take Exit 79 if you are going south FROM Brisbane, OR Exit 80 if heading north TO Brisbane. ( both at Mudgeeraba). Then just follow the " Springbrook ' signs for 22k to the First tank on the left beside the road. ( It is within sight of the Pine Creek Road intersection)

From that intersection, you travel a further 5k towards Springbrook to the Second tank, also on the left beside the road. On returning, you have an option at the Pine Creek Road intersection to see the 'Double tank Art', 500 metres along it on the right. You can continue from here down to Nerang this way & to the Motorway. (10k north of the Exits above), OR return back to Springbrook Rd. to Mudgeeraba & the original Motorway Exits/Ramps.

There is room for car parking and smallish sized vans, BUT!! the main road is very steep and windy and often narrow, so please take care if attempting this with a van.
