COVID-19 Update: Quorn Silo Light Show is still operating every night from sunset until about 8:30 PM. It is free and in a public space where you can stay in your isolation ‘bubble’. The Flinders Ranges Visitor Centre Quorn is closed. The public toilets are open. Takeaway meals may be booked from the Austral Inn and Transcontinental Hotels, see “Book a Meal” below. CURRENT SHOW: From sunset each night, the Quorn Silo Light Show is exhibiting stunning photographs and artwork contributed by community members of the Flinders Ranges Council District.
Watch the Quorn Silo begin to glow at sunset and spring to life under the stars. Bring a picnic or order a meal*, and enjoy this free starlit audiovisual celebration of the Flinders Ranges, the Pichi Richi Railways, local stories and heritage.
Tips to enjoyment: BYO Chair, Torch, Insect repellent, Snacks.
Don’t go wandering along the train tracks or in areas beyond the path.
Turn your flash off when taking photos for best results.
Park near the Visitor Info Centre and walk through the gate to the viewing area. Dispose of rubbish thoughtfully and respect our community.
