Port Adelaide - South Australia

Wonderwalls took place in Wollongong, Victoria in 2013 and by invitation from Renewal SA and City of Port Adelaide Enfield, there was a possibility to produce a Wonderwalls Festival in Port Adelaide in January 2015. Wonderwalls was a three day street art festival that consisted of an art exhibition, free artist talks and multiple large scale murals being painted in Port Adelaide.

Joel Moore is an internationally renowned Adelaide based street artist who has been part of a similar event around the world. Joel’s role was to lead the event as an artistic director whilst being assisted for an independent producer who would be supported by staff at the City of Port Adelaide Enfield.  

The festival brought together the best mural artists from around the world and has transformed Port Adelaide into an iconic destination for street art. These free festivals offered the public the opportunity to watch murals be created, attend Q&As and partake in free tours of the area.
