Mount Isa Water Tank Art - Queensland

Mount Isa is a city in the Gulf Country region of Queensland and t his stunning water tank can be found at the main lookout in the centre of its town.

It was painted in late September 2019 by David Houghton @mrmupz, @raaanjs

Depicted on the tank is local fish such as bream and barra found in Lake Moondarra and scenery images from the near by ranges which is teeming with local birdlife such as the varied lorikeet, the Kalkadoon grass wren and the black-shouldered kite.

Additional Import Information

This tank is located on top of a hill. It overlooks the town, so is a popular spot for visitors. Do not take your caravan or camper trailer up this hill as you will have to reverse all the way back down!
