This water tower was painted by Brightsiders in August 2020.

The 25-metre-high community mural celebrating the ANZAC spirit was unveiled in August 2020 on the historic King Street Water Tower in Caboolture.

As part of Unitywater’s Community Artwork Program, the concept was created in collaboration with Caboolture RSL, Bolton Clarke Fernhill aged care community and the local community with almost 3,700 residents voting on the final designs.

The ANZAC-inspired mural reflects the history of the site, which sits adjacent to the former Fernhill Village – now Bolton Clarke Fernhill aged care community – a home that cared for returned veterans when it opened in the 1950s.

Also on the water tower is a wreath of flowers featuring Australian natives, Rosemary and Red Poppy.

The King Street Water Tower mural is the 16th artwork in Unitywater’s Community Artwork Program, which transforms reservoirs, water towers and sewage pump stations across the region into larger than life murals that reflect the local community and help deter graffiti.

Very important parking information for caravans travellers. Source Geoff Appleyard.

King Street is a very busy four lane connecting road with a centre garden divider. The Water Tower is in Caboolture's main street with no street parking to the East and going West has a narrow parking lane suitable ONLY for cars, utes & small SUV's because of local house driveways.

Caravans & SMALL motorhomes could turn into Russell Street which is the first street west of the Tower running north off King Street  from either east OR west to park. It is a dead-end, but has a turning circle to take travellers back to King Street. This would involve a 500 metre walk each way, but parking further away is the only other alternative for long or larger vehicles.

Gallipoli Street is a Private Road into the retirement community with NO parking.
